Ruben Bazan, Jr.

Mr. Ruben Bazan, Jr., 73, entered into the loving arms of the heavenly father on Saturday, August 01, 2020 surrounded by his beloved family at his home.

A Nuevo Laredo native, he found his calling as a customs broker after attending Texas A&M University. He married in June of 1971 and together with his wife had four children and ten grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ruben Bazan Sr.; and his mother, Olga Ancira.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved spouse of 49 years of marriage: Mrs. Sonia Muzquiz de Bazan; children: Sonia Alejandra (Rodolfo) Cruz, Yvette (Eduardo) Garcia, Vanessa (Tony) Sanchez, and Ruben (Fabiola) Bazan, III; grandchildren: Cruz Bazan, Natalia, Alexa, Rodolfo and Amelie Garcia Bazan, Jose Eduardo, Yvette Sanchez Bazan, Emilia, Tony, and Valentina Bazan, and Ruben Bazan, IV; and siblings: Gabriela (Jacinto) Cantu, Rodolfo (Sara) Bazan, and Celina Bazan; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, August 02, 2020 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd., Laredo, Texas 78041; where a Prayer Service was held at 7 p.m.

Cremation will be held at a later date.
