Roxanne Maria Maxwell-Holloway

1950-2021

Mrs. Roxanne Maria Maxwell-Holloway, 70, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 13, 2021.

Roxanne Maria Maxwell-Holloway was born in Laredo, Texas in 1950 to Conrad and Angela Maxwell.  Growing up in Laredo, Roxanne took part in the local arts and theatre.  Wanderlust lead her to California, where she began a career in art and design and met her to-be husband Captain Steven Holloway (who was then pursuing a career in the U.S. Air Force.).  She worked for Hallmark, for a time and the greeting cards and decorations she designed are still marketed to this day.  She owned and ran a Ceramics Studio and Porcelain Doll Shop, and won multiple contests involved with custom doll painting and dress making. She was a fountain of creativity in multiple medias. Her relationship with fine art, dress making, doll painting, and digital art continued throughout her life and her home is filled with the many creations she formed.  She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, aunt to her family and mama to her many pets. Her family continues to give thanks every day that they know such a gift of a person, a truly unique being.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Angie Maxwell.
