Robert Andrews

Robert T. Andrews, 56, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Monday, January 11, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather John Mayers and his father Alonzo Andrews.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved mother Nancy Guzman Mayers, siblings Alonzo Andrews, Jr., Edward Andrews and Nancy (Kevin) Regan; nieces and nephews Athan Andrews, Aron Andrews, Alysyn Andrews, Nancy Martin, Jennifer Regan, Kevin Regan, Jr., Thomas Regan, Edward Andrews, Jr., and Jonathan Andrews.

Bobby enjoyed art projects, frequently gifting family with latch hook rugs and yarn crafts. He also really liked solving word search puzzles. He was a regular participant in Special Olympics. Bobby’s life makes very clear that among the significant life skills individuals with intellectual disabilities must be taught, leisure skills are extremely important for quality of life.

Due to the current health concerns in our community, the family is holding private funeral and interment services. We kindly invite you to join us through live stream Monday morning, January 18, 2021 starting at 11:00 a.m., provided by Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Services.
