Julieta Cuellar

Julieta G. Cuellar, 90, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.

Julieta retired after 42 years of being an honorable, dedicated and caring educator. She faithfully served the students of Buenos Aires Elementary (now Don Jose Gallego), a part of the Laredo Independent School District.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Angel Omar Cuellar of 52 years; parents, Raul and Isabel Gaona, grandson, Cody Garrett Hardy and brother Rolando F. Gaona.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Julieta C. Mejía, Gabriela C. (Dean) Hardy, Gustavo Ángel (Nelva) Cuellar, Eduardo Omar (Angelica) Cuellar, Guillermo Bernardo (Linda) Cuellar and siblings, Raúl E. (Maricela) Gaona, Héctor Gaona and Graciela G. González. She is further survived by 20 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other loved relatives.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m. El duelo se recibe el día domingo, 29 de agosto del 2021 de las 4 de la tarde hasta la 9 de la noche, en la Capilla Fúnebre Joe Jackson North, 1410 Jacaman Rd.  Un Rosario se rezará a las 7 de la noche.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning, August 30, 2021 departing at 9:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. El cortejo partirá el día lunes, 30 de agosto del 2021 a las 9:30 de la mañana de la Capilla Joe Jackson North hacia la Iglesia Católica Cristo Rey para una Misa de Cuerpo Presente a las 10 de la mañana.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Se despide en la parcela familiar del Panteón Católico.
