Mrs. Jesusita Garcia, 89, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eduardo Garcia; parents, Ramon and Inez Zapata; brothers, Zaragoza, Antonio, Vicente, Eliodoro and Marcelino Zapata.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Eduardo (Maximina) Garcia, Jr., Martha (Armando +) Maldonado, Daniel (Guadalupe) Garcia, Mario (Lisa) Garcia, Gerardo (Sandra) Garcia, Norma Garcia; sisters Eloisa Cruz and Guadalupe Vela.  She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends.

In observance of COVID restrictions, and per the request of the family, they will be receiving condolences in the chapel in groups of no more than 5 people at a time. Should you choose to join the family they respectfully request limiting your affections to words, waves, adhering to social distancing and kindly ask you wear a mask.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday evening, July 12, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a private Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m. A live feed will be transmitted via Facebook Live for the vigil duration.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning, July 13, 2020 at Santo Niño Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.  Everyone is encouraged to meet at church.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Zapata County Cemetery, Zapata, Texas.
