Irene Trejo

Irene Trejo, 65, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, January 16, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mauro and Julia Villafranca; and sister, Bertha Abrego.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Hector Trejo, Jr. (Ashley †) and Jessica Trejo Gamino (Sammy); five adored grandchildren, Amber, Layla, Hector III, Benjamin, and Addy; sister, Letty Hinojosa (Mike); brother, Mauro Villafranca, Jr. (Alicia); and brother-in-law, Mario Abrego, Sr. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and coworkers and colleagues from Texas Workforce Solutions.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, January 19, 2022 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning, January 20, 2022 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church.

Cremation Services will be held at a later date.
