Christine Baeza

Christine C. Baeza, 72, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, April 24, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix P. and Alicia M. Cantu.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Jose (Veronica) Baeza, Jr., the Urbano family and many friends, colleagues and former students.

Ms. Baeza selflessly served as an educator for 40 years starting in Chicago, Illinois and then in Laredo, Texas at Milton Elementary, Lamar Middle and United South High School where she guided several generations of students whom she loved as her own children.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, April 29, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday morning, April 30, 2022 departing at 11 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Gustavo Carmona, David Garza, Ryan Baker, Jose Flavio Garcia, Eugenio Moncivais, and Edgardo Cardenas.
