Armandina "Mandy" Benavides

Armandina “Mandy” Benavides, 50, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Wednesday, January 05, 2022.

Mandy as she was affectionately called, worked at Milton Elementary School for over 21 devoted years. She was a warm, friendly person who was always willing to help her colleagues and had a special place in her heart for all of her students. She was exceptionally family oriented and especially adored her son and loved and cared for all of her family and sisters. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

The Family would like to extend their utmost gratitude to: Dr. Eduardo Miranda, his office, and staff for the excellent care they provided Mandy during the last five years, when she needed it the most.

She was preceded in passing by her beloved parents, Armando and Bertha Benavides.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving son, Jaime Gonzalez, Jr. (Glenda Rosales); sisters, Marie Garza (Jorge), Sandra McCain (David), Bertha Benavides (Mike Daniel †), Idalia Benavides, and Helen Schoonveld (Daniel); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Saturday afternoon, January 08, 2022 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd; where a Prayer Service will commence at 6 p.m.

Cremation Services will be held at a later date.
