Amelia Sandoval

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Amelia Lerma Sandoval, 87, was called by our gracious and loving Father in heaven on October 13, 2021 in the city of San Antonio, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Francisco Antonio Sandoval; parents: Felix and Panfila R. Lerma; children, Sylvia Jeffries, Francisco A. Sandoval Jr.; daughter-in-law, Sandra Sandoval; siblings, Florencio Lerma, Daniel Lerma, Fernando Lerma, Guadalupe Lerma, Lidia Molina, Arturo Lerma; in-laws, Jose Morales and Margarita Lerma.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Juan Manuel (Verónica) Sandoval, Patricia (Jorge Luis) Enriquez, Baldemar (Sandra) Sandoval, Ramon (Diana) Sandoval; grandchildren: Catherine Sandoval, Juan Manuel Sandoval, Jr., Baldemar Sandoval, Jr., Victor Sandoval, Jorge Luis Enriquez Jr., Ramon Sandoval Jr., Clarisa Sandoval; siblings and in-laws: Alamar Lerma, Elva Lerma, Maria de los Angeles Lerma, Bernardino Molina, Antonio (Maria) Lerma, Rosario Lerma, Carolina Morales, Gregorio Lerma and numerous nieces, nephews, other beloved relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 departing at 10 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
