Alicia G. Ramirez
May 07, 1926 – October 14, 2020

In the midst of the morning on October 14, 2020 our Lord summoned His Angels and Saints to open the pearly gates to His Kingdom as Alicia G. Ramirez entered Eternal Life. She was a devoted Catholic woman who lived her life unselfishly. She always put everyone else’s needs before hers. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her personality brought joy to anyone she spoke to. She was able to see the positive side to anything. She encouraged us to be strong, to believe in ourselves, and be the best we can be. She taught us to have faith, and that with God everything is possible. She was the light of all those who loved her and she will forever be remembered for her generous heart and her beautiful spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe and Jose Garcia, her brothers; Joe and Manuel Garcia as well as her sisters; Patricia Brewster, Concepcion Garcia, Beatriz Villarreal, Mynerva Almendarez, and Mary Mitchell.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Rolando Ramirez Sr., her children; Rolando (Annabel) Ramirez Jr., Luis (Irma) Ramirez, Cordelia (Jose+) Escudero, and Leticia (Sergio) Uribe Jr.; her grandkids Jason Ramirez, Luis Ramirez, Jr., Jacqueline Uribe Rodriguez, Catherine Uribe Arellano, Joe Escudero, Alexandra Ramirez, Dante Ramirez, Elizabeth Ann Ramirez, and Jorge Escudero; great-grandkids Kaleb Rodriguez, Camila Arellano, Faith Rodriguez, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Monday morning, October 19, 2020 from 8-10:30 a.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 N. Loring Ave; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 9 a.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday morning, October 19, 2020 departing at 10:40 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to Mother Cabrini Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.
