We grieve the loss of our dear Victor Vicente Valdez. He died with the hope of the resurrection in his heart and surrounded by his wife Maria de los Angeles Valdez; and his children, Esmeralda (Omar) Maldonado, Rogelio (Patricia) Saucedo, Daniel (Selina) Saucedo, and Carmela Saucedo.
Victor was born and raised in Laredo and he managed his business, Valdez Painting for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Felipa Valdez; brothers, Daniel Valdez, Javier Valdez, Francisco Valdez; sisters, Alicia Gutierrez, Mary Valdez Hernandez, and Paula Nora Valdez.
He is also survived by his brothers, Juan J. Valdez, Carlos D. Valdez; sisters, Felipa Basto, Consuelo Hawksby, and Herminia Valdez; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews who will hold his memory dearly in their hearts.
In lieu of a formal memorial, his family encourages everyone to celebrate and pay their respects to Victor in a way they find personal, special and that he would deem fit.
