Tomas Gutierrez, Jr., 78, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tomas and Enriqueta Gutierrez; and sister, Irma Trautman.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rebeca Gutierrez; children, Diana (Steven) Knudson, Tomas (Susan) Gutierrez III, Cristina (Rodrigo) Aldape; 5 grandchildren, Xavier Gutierrez, Annalee Aldape, Rodrigo Aldape, Jr., Albert Knudson, Alexander Knudson; brother, Argelio (Trine) Gutierrez; sisters, Nelda (Frank †) Edwards and Mary (Darrel) Martin.  He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday evening, November 30, 2023, from 5pm to 9pm at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday morning, December 1, 2023 departing at 10:00 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Rodrigo Aldape, Alexander Knudson, Albert Knudson, Xavier Gutierrez, Joshua Blackwell, Steven Knudson, and Rod Aldape.
