Teresa Marcos

Teresa C. Marcos passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. She was born on May 20, 1941, and was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Canavati and Rosa Canavati; her husband Salvador Marcos; and her son Javier Marcos.

She loved working with children and while working at Ursuline Elementary she mentored countless students to become who they are today. She was always helping out and was a great influence on many children.

A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, Mrs. Marcos will always be remembered for her hard work, her beautiful smile, and her kind heart.

The family would like to give their sincerest thanks to Dr. Mohsen Ghadimi-Mahani, Dr. Olayinka O. Holt, Dr. Arthur Santos, and all their staff for the help and medical attention they gave to our beloved Teresa.

She is survived by her children, Teresa (Rafael) Ferrigno, Jesus Salvador (Trey Hassell) Marcos, Rose Mary Marcos, Gerardo (AnaLuisa) Marcos, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

A funeral mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2219 Galveston St., Laredo, TX., 78043.
