Sylvia Santos 81, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, March 25, 2023. She was lovingly known as, Grammy.

She was preceded in passing by: her spouse Mario Santos, Jr., son Delfino Santos, parents Julian and Olga Garcia, and brother Julian Garcia

Left to cherish her memory are: children; Judy (Juan) Campos, Maria Eugenia “Gigi” (Victor) Perez, and Mario (Rosie) Santos, III.; eight grandchildren Juan Amado (Elisha) Campos, Rene Alberto (Anabel) Perez, Sylvia Diana Perez, Elizabeth (Victoriano) Ortiz, Mario Santos, IV., Rosemary Therese Santos, Linda Marie Santos, Judith Marie Santos; seven great grandchildren Aliana Rae Campos, Ava Carmen Campos, Rene Alberto Perez, Jr., Ryan Alexander Perez, Riley Perez, Amberly Ortiz, and Aiden Ortiz; siblings George Robert (Lois) Garcia and Luis Eduardo Garcia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday evening, March 30, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to: All the medical staff from Laredo Medical Center and her oncology team in San Antonio, Texas. A heartfelt thanks to all the beautiful ladies from the Princess Pocahontas Council - her extended family. We would also like to thank all the staff from Superior Nursing Care.
