STEVEN CHRIS FLORES
January 23, 1971 – September 16, 2022

Steven Chris Flores,51, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Friday, September 16, 2022. 

He was preceded in death by his mom, Leticia Flores Gallegos and grandparents, Jose and Elvira Flores.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Gene (Roxanne) Gallegos, April Gallegos, Chelsea (Rudy) Lopez, Elisa (Ricardo) Gutierrez, Leticia “Joy” (Rogelio) Santa Cruz, Roxanne Alva (Ray) Contreras, and Enrique Alva, Jennifer (Enrique) Hernandez. Aunts, Elisa (Ben) Tavern, Mary Olivarez, and uncle Ernesto (Tony) Flores. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives who he loved dearly. 

Steven was a quiet and gentle soul. He valued hard work and had a deep commitment to his family. Those closest to him would say “Steven has a heart of gold.” He was known to drop everything and come to the rescue with no questions asked. A selfless man always offering help to others. Steven loved deeply and was deeply loved. He will be eternally missed.   

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, September 23, 2022 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Prayer Service will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday morning, September 24, 2022 departing at 10 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to the Laredo City Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be: Jesse Castillo, Enrique Hernández, Enrique Alva, Gene Gallegos, Ricardo Gutierrez, Ray Contreras, Rogelio Santa Cruz, Christian Santa Cruz and Brandon Santa Cruz.
