SERGIO LINARES

September 4, 1985- September 24, 2023

Sergio Linares, 38, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, September 24, 2023.

He was preceded in passing by his twin brother Raul Linares.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Maria Lourdes (Gustavo) Martinez, and Abraham A. (Laura) Linarez, Jr.; his wife, Rocio Martinez; his children, Sergio Linares, Jr., Marilyn Jo Linares, Romeo Isaac Linares, Lorraine Lopez, Jaelene Lopez, and Eduardo Zulaica;his siblings, Melissa J. Linares, Abraham (Stephanie) Linares, III., Claudia L. (Daniel Macias) Salazar, Carlos L. (Ashley Hernandez) Linares, AB “Chico” (Jessica Lopez) Linares, and Priscila Rodriguez Linares; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended relatives, and friends of the Martinez, Contreras, Rangel, and Macias Families.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, October 6, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday morning, October 7, 2023 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Laredo City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Abraham Linares, III., Carlos Linares, Abraham Linares, Jr., Sergio Linares, Jr., Mikey Castañeda, Alex Castañeda, Eduardo Zulaica, Sergio Castañeda, and Daniel Macias.
