ROSALINDA LOZANO

December 16, 1949 – September 23, 2022

Rosalinda (Ramos) Lozano joined our Lord in His Heavenly Kingdom on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the age of 72.

Rosita, as she was affectionately known, graduated from Martin High School and thereafter pursued a degree in education from the University of Texas in San Antonio, where she met the love of her life. She returned to Laredo, where she proudly became a Special Education teacher with L.I.S.D. and ultimately retired from Heights Elementary. 

Rosalinda was not only an amazing teacher, she was a devoted wife, daughter, and mother. She was ecstatic to add the title of grandmother to her long list of achievements and loved her grandchildren endlessly.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Leonor Lozano, parents; Mr. Roberto and Dora Ramos, and brother Roberto Ramos Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters; Leonor “Loni” (Christopher) George and Christina (Oscar) Saavedra, in addition to her pride and joy, her granddaughters; Aleyna, and Alessandra Saavedra, brother: Juan Jose Ramos and numerous other family and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday afternoon, September 29, 2022 from 5pm to 9pm. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday morning, September 30, 2022 departing at 8:40 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
