Rosa Maria Gonzalez

Rosa Maria Gonzalez, 84, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo Gonzalez and Juanita Solis; her siblings, Alfredo Gonzalez Jr., Rogelio Gonzalez, Rodolfo Gonzalez, Josefina Velasquez, and Hilda Gonzalez; and her life partner, Antonieta Ceron.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Gabriel (Magdalena Perez Avila) Gonzalez; her grandchildren, Camila Fhernanda Chavarria, and Diego Alberto Flores; her brother, David (Pat Gomez-Garcia) Gonzalez; and her sister, Juanita (Raul†) Juarez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday evening, July 23, 2026 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday morning, July 24, 2026 departing at 9 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.

A private cremation will be held at a later date.
