Rosa Sylvia Alexander
September 8, 1949 – May 13, 2025
Rosa Sylvia Alexander, 75, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
Sylvia was a beloved mother to her daughter’s, Sylvia and Sandra who cherished every moment spent in her mother’s embrace. A devoted Catholic and a dedicated servant of God, she was a beacon of faith and compassion in the lives of many. Her religious fervor was matched only by her unwavering commitment to helping others, epitomized in her endless willingness to lend a hand with home repairs—no matter the day or hour. Her laughter was infectious and her talent for telling jokes brought joy to countless gatherings, creating precious memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.
With a career spanning 55 years, Sylvia served as General Manager at Haynes Properties, where her diligent loyalty and strong work ethic set a standard that inspired those around her. Sylvia’s contributions to her community were immeasurable, and her legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the values she instilled.
As we gather to honor Sylvia's extraordinary life, we reflect on the remarkable impact she made. She was not just a mother, a colleague, or a friend; she was a superhero in disguise—a “Super Mom” whose fierce dedication to her family and work can only be admired.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jorge Alexander; parents, Jose F. and Maria Olivia Gomez.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sylvia (Cesar) Lombraña and Sandra (Alberto) Cavazos; grandchildren, Alexis (Gerardo) Cruz, Cesar ( Dianneth) Lombraña, II., Anahi Lombraña; great grandchildren, Gerardo Cruz, Jr., and Emma Isabella Lombraña; long time friend and caregiver of 48 years Rita Vargas; sister, Leticia (Carlos) Palacios as well as numerous other relatives, and friends.
