September 1, 1929-March 5, 2021

Rodolfo “Rudy Boy” Juarez, Sr., passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021, at the age of 91 in Laredo, Texas. Rodolfo was born in Bustamante, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on September 1, 1929.

Rodolfo worked for 17 years at Watkins Bridge Co. then retiring and starting his own small business, Juarez Construction.  Later after his retirement from his business, he loved spending time with his family.  He had a passion for baseball and his favorite team was Los Sultanes de Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Juarez Arenas and Rita Romero Juarez; his wife Elena A. Juarez, his brothers, Juan Antonio (Velia Vargas) Juarez Romero, Victor Juarez Romero and Guadalupe Juarez Romero.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Rodolfo (Laura Z. +) Juarez, Jr., Sanjuanita Juarez, Jose Victor (Virginia +) Juarez; grandchildren, Janet (Edgar) Hinojosa, Luis Alberto (Stephanie Garza) Juarez, Jose Victor (Sylvia Canales) Juarez, Jr., David Ivan Nuñez, Valeria Juarez, Edgar Lee Nuñez; great-grandchildren, Jose Victor Juarez III, Ally Belle Hinojosa, Bella Marie Hinojosa, and Giovanni Gael Juarez. He is also survived by his brothers, Benito Ramon Juarez Romero, Roberto Juarez Romero, and sister Juanita Juarez Romero, along with other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, March 10, 2021 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning, March 11, 2021 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
