Robin Aasin Rodriguez, 29, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.

Beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, confidant as well as a true patriot who served our country proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps.  He worked as a police officer for LISD.  Robin lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed many things.  He loved going to the gym, shooting range, fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors.  He especially loved spending time with family and friends.  He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his son, Robin Aasin Rodriguez, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Maria D. Casarez (Hector Garza); father, Ramiro Adolfo (Irma Neri) Rodriguez, Jr.; his siblings, Ramiro (Ana) Rodriguez III, Lee Roy Rodriguez, Rosalynn Rodriguez; nieces, Ruby Rodriguez, Destiny Rodriguez, Anel Chavez, and Ana Sofia Chavez; and nephews, Ramiro Rodriguez IV, and Atzel Chavez.  He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Monday evening, March 27, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday morning, March 28, 2023 departing at 8:15 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Santa Margarita de Escocia Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Veterans section of the Laredo City Cemetery.

Military Honors will be provided by the Laredo Veterans Honor Guard and presentation of the United States flag will be provided by the United States Marine Corps Honor Guard.
