Roberto A. Martinez, 89, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 16, 2015. Roberto A. Martinez is preceded in death by his wife Rosa Juarez Martinez; parents, Miguel F. and Efigenia Martinez; brothers, Leopoldo, Miguel, and Rodolfo Martinez. He is survived by his children, Roberto Martinez, Jr., Sylvia (Frank) Chavez, Leticia (Salvador) Zepeda, Miguel Martinez; grandchildren, Francisco Rene (Monica) Chavez, Marisa Y. Chavez (Javier Casillas); great grandchildren, Gesenia, Vivian, Christian, Matthew and Janessa Chavez, Laila Rose and Maia Raine Casillas; sisters and brothers, Olivia (Daniel) Diaz, Eva (Romulo ) Ramirez, Olga (Rogelio) Rogerio, Alfredo (Yolanda) Martinez, Encarnacion (Margarita) Martinez, and Graciela (Arturo ) Serna. He is also survived by numerous loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, April 20, 2015 at Joe Jackson Springfield Funeral Chapels, 1900 Springfield from 5 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be recited at 7 in the evening. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2015 departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
