Roberto Flores Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Roberto Flores Jr., aged 73, who left this world on December 17, 2025. Mr. Flores was born on December 15, 1952, in Laredo, Texas. Roberto was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, whose impact on the lives of those he touched is immeasurable.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roberto Flores Sr. and Margarita Arredondo; his son, Roberto Flores III; his granddaughter, Anahi L. Flores; as well as siblings Thelma Flores and Esther Flores, sister-in-law Magdalena Lopez, and mother-in-law Rebeca P. Lopez. 

Roberto is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Esther L. Flores, whose unwavering support was a cornerstone of his life. He is also survived by his daughters, Veronica E. (Gerardo) Ramirez and Lydia Patricia (Juan Sergio) Gonzalez; joyful grandchildren: Aidan Jacob Ramirez, Coraline Ramirez, Olivia Grace Gonzalez, Robert Archer Flores, and Katya Rebeca Flores; siblings: Diana (Roy) Alvarado, Margie (Hector Jr.+) Rodriguez, and Blanca Flores, sisters-in-law: Graciela Lopez, and Rebecca (Oscar D. Jr) Garcia; best friends: Juanito Jacobo and Javier Reyna; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends will also remember him fondly.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, December 26, 2025 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Prayer Service will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday morning, December 27, 2025, where a Chapel Service will commence at 10 a.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Veterans Section of the Laredo City Cemetery.

Military Honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard and the Laredo Veterans Honor Guard.
