ROBERT L. DELGADO

January 14, 1933 – May 18, 2023

Robert L. Delgado, 90, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, Juan Delgado and Juanita Tristan; his brother Oscar Tristan, and his sister Gloria Treviño Longoria.

Left to cherish his memory are: his loving spouse, Juanita Delgado; children, George (Lucy) Delgado, Rachel (Alex) Rodriguez, Rosana (Roberto) Cantu, Richard (Martha) Delgado, and David (Norma) Delgado; twelve grandchildren, Elina (German) Almonte, Analysa Delgado, Claudia Rodriguez, Andrew (Joy) Rodriguez, Stephen Cantu, Daniel (Kelly) Cantu, Lisa Cantu, Oscar (Tatiana) Delgado, Isabel Delgado, Victor Delgado, David Delgado, Jr., and Samantha Delgado; seven great-grandchildren, Emilia Almonte, Alexander Almonte, Hudson Cantu, Asher Cantu, Stephen Noah Cantu, Ashlee Rodriguez, and Giovanna Delgado; his sister Nora (Araldo) Manzo, and his brother Ray (Carol) Tristan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday morning, May 24, 2023 from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Chapel Service will commence at 10:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: David Delgado, Richard Delgado, George Delgado, Oscar Delgado, Andrew Rodriguez, Stephen Cantu, Daniel Cantu, and Victor Delgado.
