Ricardo Ramiro Rios

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ricardo Ramiro Rios, who departed this life on April 21, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on April 10, 1953, Ricardo was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, who touched the lives of many with his kindness and unwavering spirit.

Ricardo is preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Rios and Elena Trevino. 

Ricardo is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years of marriage, Lucila Raquel Rios, with whom he shared a profound love that transcended the ordinary. Together, they raised two cherished children: Ricardo Ramiro (Priscilla) Rios and Tiffany Nicole Rios, who carry forward his legacy of compassion, strength, and integrity. His family grows further with the adoration of his grandchildren, Emilly Chapa, Rochelle Hinojosa, Diego Hinojosa, and Sydney Rodriguez, as well as his great-grandson, Daxton Lopez. He is also survived by his siblings, Gilberto Ramon Rios, Graciela Y. Rios, Esmeralda Y. Rios, and Rosa Isela Rios, who will remember him with love and fondness.

The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday afternoon, April 26, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd, where a Chapel Service will commence at 7 p.m.

A private cremation will be held at a later date.
