Refugio Cazares

Refugio "Cuco" Cazares, 88, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 05, 2013.-Refugio was born in Bastrop, Texas and lived his whole life in Laredo.-He worked for over 50 years as a migrant worker in North Dakota, Ohio, and Michigan.

He was a great, loyal husband for 62 years, a wonderful father, and the best grandpa anyone could ask for.-He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Refugio was preceded in death by his parents,-Gervacio and Guadalupe Cazares; daughter, Esperanza Cazares; and his grandson, Rigoberto Lugo.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years of marriage, Julia Cazares; his children, Julie Limon, Maria Elena Cazares, Refugio Cazares, Jr., Rogelio Cazares, Rosa Anna Diaz, Gerardo Cazares, Gloria Cazares, Erlinda Calderon, Martin Cazares, and Francisco Cazares; sister, Guadalupe Reyna; and brother, Concepcion Cazares. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, loved relatives and friends.
