Raul Rodriguez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raul Rodriguez, beloved husband of Nini. Raul was born on August 8, 1948, in Mexico and later made his home in Laredo, Texas. He was a dedicated truck driver in the transportation industry and was known for his passion for music and the Dallas Cowboys.

Raul, a talented musician, spent countless hours playing the keyboard at various venues, composing music, and sharing his beautiful voice with others. He also cherished moments spent fishing and treasured time with his family, especially during gatherings and celebrations.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raul and Carolina Rodriguez; his siblings, Tita Rodriguez, Pablo Puente, and Martha Rodriguez. 

He leaves behind his loving wife, with whom he shared over 52 years of marriage. Raul's memory will forever be treasured by his spouse, Nini Rodriguez; his sons, Raul “Styles” (Shirley) Rodriguez, and Richard (Maribel Villarreal) Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Sadey Rodriguez, Styles Kalel Rodriguez, Mexia Hardy, and Ezra Rodriguez; his siblings, Lupita Ibarra, Hilda Blanca Rodriguez, Juan (Gloria) Puente, Rosa Puente, and Martin (Martha Veronica) Puente; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A private cremation will be held at a later date.
