Ramon Torres Tejeda

Mr. Ramon Torres Tejeda, 74, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

 Ramon devoted 22 years of his life to serving as a head custodian for UISD, where his commitment and hard work earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him. His love for music brought joy to those around him, and his infectious happiness spread warmth wherever he went.

 A devoted family man, Ramon cherished his wife Fabiola Torres, daughter, and grandchildren. He always put his family first, and his love and care knew no bounds.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvestre and Concepcion Torres; siblings, Gloria Torres, Paula Torres, Cristina Torres, Alejandro Torres and Autilio Torres.

 Left to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 53 years of marriage, Fabiola Torres; his daughter, San Juanita (Artemio) Vielma; his grandchildren, Andrew Vielma, Yahir Vielma, and Saul Vielma; as well as numerus extended relatives and friends. 

 A Chapel Service will be held on Monday morning, July 8, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels. A procession will depart at 11 a.m. to the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery for Rite of Committal and Interment.

 Pallbearers will be: Artemio Vielma and Andrew Vielma.
