AUGUST 3, 1943 – SEPTEMBER 26, 2020

Ramon Gonzalez, 77, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, September 26, 2020. His hard working hands are now at rest.

Ramon Gonzalez's life was pure love and labor. He was a beloved father and a wonderful father in law, always keeping his family in check without any sugar coating, truthful and straight to the point was his style. The love for his wife Sylvia was exemplary and inspiring achieving 51 years of marriage. Ramon leaves behind a lifetime of lessons on hard work, honor and integrity but most importantly a big file of the best dad jokes in the field. Rest in Paradise, we love you Wuerito and know those wings are matching perfectly with that full head of golden white hair.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Felipe de Jesus and Maria de la Luz Gonzalez and siblings; Hermelinda Arambula and Jose Angel Gonzalez.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife; Sylvia Gonzalez, their children; Juan Ramon (Isabel), Linda Marie, Jose Luis (Olivia), David (Rose), Maria de la Luz Gonzalez. Also cherishing his memory are his siblings; Rita Uribe, Adela (Joseph) Chelanko and Alfredo (Emma) Gonzalez, 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday evening, September 29, 2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday morning, September 30, 2020 departing at 9:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
