Praxedis Hernandez, 89, passed away January 11, 2014. Mrs. Hernandez was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Hernandez; son, Pedro Herrera and her daughter, Juanita Ramirez. She is survived by her children: Ernestina Herrera, Jose M. (Sara) Herrera, Benito (Juanita) Herrera, Angela Herrera, Natividad (Valeriano ) Guardiola, Rosa (Felix ) Garcia and Manuel (Laura) Hernandez; and son-in-law: Vicente (Juanita) Ramirez. Visitation will be held Monday, January 13, 2014 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez. A Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. A Chapel Service at Joe Jackson Heights will be conducted on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 9 a.m. with Pastor Abraham Zermeo officiating.
