Porfirio Sanchez, Jr., 41, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on June 20, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Efrain Orta; paternal grandparents, Antonacio and Antonina Sanchez; and his brother, Erik Sanchez.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Roxy Guerrero; children, Anthony Sanchez, Elena Sanchez, Sylvia Sanchez, Angel Sanchez; father, Porfirio Sanchez, Sr. and mother, Sylvia Orta Gray; siblings, Elizabet (Andres) Ramos, Roman (Brenda) Sanchez, Laura (Ignacio) Marquez, Adilene (Paul) Kristinik, Erica Trejo, Guadalupe Trejo, Jesus Trejo, Alvaro Sanchez, Jimena Sanchez, Amber Sanchez; and maternal grandmother, Elisa Gutierrez.  He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday evening, June 27, 2023 from 5pm to 9pm at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez.  A Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, June 28, 2023, departing Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels at 8:30 a.m. to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
