Patricio Mendoza

Patricio Gustavo “Pat” Mendoza, 88, our loving and devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather was called home by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 06, 2019.

He served in the United States Air Force in San Antonio; after serving in the military he worked at Sears until his retirement. Pat enjoyed sharing the love of nature with his sons and grandsons. Pat was also a taxidermist in his spare-time.

The most important part of his life was his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Patricio “Pat” Mendoza was preceded in death by: his parents: Octavio Mendoza, Delia Lugo Guajardo, and step-father, Francisco Guajardo; and brothers: Octavio Mendoza and Dr. Luis Mendoza.

Left to cherish his memory are: his loving wife: Margaret Mendoza; his children: Patrick (Gloria) Mendoza Jr, Cindy (Arthur) Veliz, Tavo (Mina) Mendoza, Adriana, and Roxana; and his brothers: Ernesto (Martha E.) Guajardo, Francisco (Carolina) Guajardo, Francisco “Paco  (Patsy) Lugo, Christina Guajardo, and Luis (Weegee) Mendoza. He is further survived by his beloved grandchildren: Patrick, Grace, Christopher, Angelica, Anthony, Jeanette, Stephen, Jacob, Melissa, and Joseph Mendoza; 7 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Saturday evening, October 19, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where Military Honors and a Eulogy will commence at 7 p.m.
