OSCAR R. PAEZ

October 1, 1953 – March 08, 2023

Mr. Oscar R. Paez, was welcomed with open arms into the kingdom of heaven on Wednesday, March 8^th, 2023 at the age of 69.

Mr. Paez was a lifelong resident of Laredo. He was loved by his community, friends, and family. He retired after 26 dedicated years of service with the Texas Mexican Railroad, a feat which he took much pride in, as he was an excellent Trainman/Conductor.

He was preceded in passing by: his parents, Reducindo and Otila R. Paez and his brother, Jorge Luis Paez.

Left to cherish his memory are: his sisters, Otila P. († Onesimo) Herrera and Yolanda Paez Rocha; children, Oscar R.  Paez, Jr. and Amanda (Chad) McCaleb; mother of his children, Olga Paez; and grandchildren, Vaden C. McCaleb and Olivia Denay McCaleb; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

Everyone is welcomed to attend His Celebration of Life. For those that can, please wear light colored clothing during this Lenten Season.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday morning, March 15, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Chapel Service will commence at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Oscar R. Paez, Jr. and Vaden C. McCaleb.
