OSCAR LOPEZ SR.

February 19, 1922 – October 21, 2022

Oscar Lopez Sr.,100, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Friday, October 21, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Josefina A. Lopez; parents Santiago Lopez Sr. and Julia Lopez.

Left to cherish his memory is his children; Sylvia (Jose Manuel) Garcia, Rosie L. Escobar, Ana “Annie” Maria (Jose Angel) Escamilla, Oscar Lopez Jr., four grandchildren, four great grandchildren as well as numerous relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Tuesday evening, October 25, 2022 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday morning, October 26, 2022 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Joaquin Escobar III., Joseph Angelo Escamilla, Jose Angel Escamilla, Jose Manuel Garcia, Oscar Lopez Jr., Charlie Wilson, Gilberto Lopez Jr., and Rolando Lopez.

American Legion Post 59 will be doing the Full Military Honor. Army will be doing the Flag detail.
