January 5, 1936- June 17, 2023

Orelia Reyes, 87, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Saturday, June 17, 2023.

She was preceded in passing by: her beloved husband Jose Maria Reyes; her granddaughter Emily Hope Reyes; and by her sister Maria de Jesus Salazar.

Left to cherish her memory are: her children, Jose M. (Nereida Gamboa) Reyes, and Angelica (Erasmo) Tobias; her grandchildren, Jose Maria Reyes, III., Christine M. Reyes, Mateo Reyes, Yaretzy Gamboa, Axel Gamboa, Victor Gamboa, Amado Tobias, and Toby Tobias; her siblings; Maria Genoveva Flores, Luis Guerra, and Eugenio Guerra; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, June 23, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday morning, June 24, 2023 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
