Mrs. Olivia Apolinar Garza, 94, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

Mrs. Garza embraced life wholeheartedly, finding beauty in the simple moments and radiating positivity wherever she went. She had an unwavering passion for sunflowers, which symbolized her bright personality and resilient spirit.

With a spirited dedication, Mrs. Garza served her community through various roles over the years. Her 14 years at Hachar and 17 years at Richters were marked by her unwavering work ethic and commitment to excellence. She also lent her talents to the Texas Employment Commission and the Webb County Clerk's Office.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Baltazar Garza Jr.; mother, Sara M. Flores; sister, Mercedes A. Flores; and son, Martin T. Garza

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Marcos D. Garza; and daughter; Sara C. Garza. She is also survived by nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Monday evening, August 18, 2025, from 5pm to 9pm at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday morning, August 19, 2025 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
