Mirtha Gonzalez, 77, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Monday, August 25, 2025.
Mirtha devoted over 32 years of her life to her work as a cashier at AutoZone, a testament to her unwavering commitment and work ethic. She approached her job with the same passion and dedication that she displayed in all aspects of her life. Mirtha’s infectious laughter and strong sense of humor brightened the days of her colleagues and customers alike, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to meet her. Mirtha maintained a deep connection to her heritage and shared her love for family and tradition with all who knew her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life whether savoring a plate of her favorite Italian cuisine, sipping her morning coffee, or embarking on new adventures with loved ones. Mirtha's love for travel opened her eyes to the beauty of the world, but her greatest joy came from the time spent with family.
Mirtha was a woman of profound faith, a guiding light who inspired those around her to embrace kindness and service to others. Her unwavering devotion to her beliefs was evident in her everyday actions, as she touched the lives of many in her community, always ready to lend a helping hand. In her passing, we reflect on a life well-lived a life marked by love, laughter, and unwavering strength. Mirtha's spirit will forever dance in our memories, captivating our hearts and guiding our futures.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aurelio and Ignacia Zamarron: grandson, Roman R. Ruiz; sister, Minerva Zamarron
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Carlos (Kristina) Garza and Lorraine (Lee) De Los Santos; grandchildren, Alexis Rincon, Nicolas Garza, Michael Garza, Vanessa L. Rodriguez, Justin J. Gonzalez, Noah Ruiz, and Italia V. Ruiz; great granddaughter, Jaylie Gonzalez; siblings, Rosa M. Casiano, Sylvia Robinson, Adriana Zamarron, Araceli Zamarron (Armando Peña), Iysela Iruegas, and Ricardo (Leticia) Zamarron as well as numerous, other relatives, and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, September 3, 2025 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Chapel service will commence at 7 p.m.
Chapel Service will be conducted on Thursday morning, September 4, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels.
