MARTIN ALEXIS “ALEX” AVILES

February 6, 2001- July 2, 2023

Martin Alexis “Alex” Aviles, 22, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, July 2, 2023 after a lifelong battle with Ataxia Telangiectasia. In spite of his illness, Alex could melt the hearts of those around him with his beautiful smile. He possessed the strength and courage that taught us that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother Sonia (Marco A. “Tony”) Lozano; his father Matias Martin Aviles; his sister Cesiah (Moises) Aviles Nieto; his half-siblings; Angel D. Aviles, and Ashley Aviles; his nephews, Noah A. Nieto, and Nehemiah J. Nieto; his maternal grandparents Jose M. and Juventina Cordova; his paternal grandparents, Matias † and Ramona Aviles; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, July 5, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Celebration of Life and Prayer Service will commence at 7 p.m. recited by Pastor Dorso Maciel.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday morning, July 6, 2023 at 10 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 10 a.m. recited by Pastor Dorso Maciel then departing at 11 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Laredo City Cemetery.
