Maria Mercedes Diaz, 68, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

She was preceded in passing by: her parents, Arturo and Mercedes Soliz; parents-in-law, Jose Atanacio (Maria Dolores) Diaz.

Left to cherish her memory are: her loving spouse of forty-five years of marriage, Juan Andres Diaz; siblings, Arturo Soliz (Maria de los Angeles) Calahoro, MariCarmen (Adolfo) Duran, Maria Lourdes (Jamie†) Duran, and Elisa Isabel (Jose Maria Jimenez) Soliz; brothers and sisters-in-law, Victoria Eugenia Sanchez, Franciso J. (Wilma) Diaz, Gerardo (Cynthia) Diaz, Maria del Carmen (Mario) Ramirez, Maria de Lourdes Aguirre, and Jorge Ignacio Diaz; nephews and nieces, Arturo, Ana Maria, Lourdes, Yolanda, Adolfo, Vanessa, Jose Maria, and Virginia; as well as numerous extended relatives, and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, September 29, 2023 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday morning, September 30, 2023 departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9 a.m.

Pallbearers will be: Martin Aguirre Jr., Albert Aguirre, Joe Sanchez, Mario Ramirez Jr., Orlando Ramirez, Gerardo Diaz Jr., Mario Valdez, and Gerson Carias.
