Maria Luisa Salinas, 100, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, December 24, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose D. Salinas.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mary (Allen) Smoot, Sara (Rafael) Ortiz, Jose David (Ninfa) Salinas, Jr.; grandchildren, Rebecca Molina, Jessica Rivera, David Salinas III, Dominic Salinas, Ninfa Margaret Roberts; great-grandchildren, Alexandra Molina, Eduardo Molina, Felipe Rivera, Jake Rivera, and Henry Roberts.  She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday morning, December 27, 2023 from 7am to 9am at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 8:15 a.m.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday morning, December 27, 2023 departing at 9:00 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Rafael Ortiz, Jose David Salinas, Jr., Felipe Rivera, Dominic Salinas, David Salinas III, and Cody Roberts.

The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Las Alturas Nursing and Rehabilitation Home for their loving care.
