MARIA ISABEL GARCIA

OCTOBER 20, 1969 – JANUARY 16, 2020

Maria Isabel Garcia, 50, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at a local hospital.  Maria Isabel was a member of the Rio Bravo Congregation of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.  She was a loyal follower of Jehovah, always carrying his word to whomever she met.  Maria Isabel was a longtime employee and personal assistant at Joe Jackson Funeral Chapels and Laredo Monument Company.  Her friendship, trustworthiness and dedication to her work will always be remembered along with the love for her son Tony and her family.

She is preceded in death by her mother:  Maria Luisa “Chata” Moya Garcia.

Surviving her are her son:  Antonio “Tony” (Melanie Marie) Sepulveda III; father: Agustin Garcia Sr.; siblings:  Ruben (Mirna) Garcia, Maria Dolores Garcia, Agustin Garcia Jr., Esmeralda (Jesus) Gonzalez, Virginia (David) Guel, Abel (Gladys) Garcia; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 3 pm until 9 pm at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels, 1410 Jacaman Rd. A Discourse will be held at 7 p.m. with Elder Israel Guajardo.

A cremation will be held at a later date.
