Maria Gutierrez

Maria Refugio Gutierrez, 88, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Maria is preceded in death by her husband: Jose G. Gutierrez, parents: Ignacio and Virginia Gonzalez, and sister: Maria Luisa Garcia. She is survived by her son: Leonardo (Martha) Gutierrez, daughter: Cordelia Gutierrez; grandchildren: Gerardo N. Gutierrez, Leonardo Gutierrez, Jr., Jose Horacio Gutierrez, Rebekah Maria Rodriguez, Bernadette Gutierrez; great-grandchildren: Gerardo Noel Gutierrez, Jr., Mia Angelita Gutierrez, Mykhayla Gutierrez; brothers-in-law: Marcelino (Maria) Gutierrez from Corpus Christi, Vicente (Tere) Gutierrez from Laredo, and Nicolas Gutierrez from San Antonio. She is also survived by numerous loving relatives and friends. A special thanks goes to Dr. Ildefonzo Flores and his staff. Visitation will be held Friday, November 22, 2013 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring @ Cortez from 5 to 9 in the evening. A rosary will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013 departing at 8:00 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Mass at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Veteran's Section in the Laredo City Cemetery.
