MARIA D. SALINAS

July 11, 1927- October 30, 2022

Maria D. Salinas, 95, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Sunday, October 30, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents Agustin Salinas and Eulalia Salinas, and eight of her sisters and one brother.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Sylvia (John) Amrich, Ruben Fidel Barrera, Oscar Armando Barrera, Cynthia L. (Gerardo) Diaz, and Kenneth Michael (Cordelia) Salinas, thirteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, her sister Norma († Harold) Putnam, as well as numerous relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Friday evening, November 4, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to: Leonor Quiroz, Graciela Seigel, Leticia Molina, Marta D. Bluhm, Guadalupe (Lupe) Maldonado Gutierrez, Rosalva Martinez, Alicia Elizaldi, Raquel De La Garza, Maricela (Mari), Concepcion (Conchi), Carolina (Caro), Ezmeralda (Ziola), Maria Paz Castillo, Porfiria (Chole) and all who contributed to the tender care of Maria.
