Maria Antonia Fuentes, 72, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Josefina Mendoza; brother Ernesto Mendoza; and great-grandson Sabastian Marmolejo.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Mario Alberto Fuentes; children, Ana Laura (George) Vassos, Sylvia (Juan) Marmolejo, Gloria Gaitan, Mario Alberto (Michelle) Fuentes, Jr., Marco Antonio (Sylvia) Fuentes; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gloria Salazar, Felix Mendoza, Jr., Enriqueta (Samuel) Guajardo, and Irma Mendoza.  She is also survived by numerous other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Monday evening, February 20, 2023 from 5pm to 9pm at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday morning, February 21, 2023 departing at 10:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
