Leo E. Aguilar Jr.

Leo E. Aguilar Jr., 69, passed away in Plano, Texas, on July 11, 2026. Born in Laredo, Texas, on February 15, 1957. Leo lived a life full of passion, generosity, and deep devotion to his family, friends, and community. Leo was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Leo Sr. and Hermelinda Aguilar.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sara Aguilar; his daughters, Erika (Johnny) Escamilla, and Kimberlee (Andrew) Martinez, and his cherished grandchildren, Destiny, George, Johnny Jr., Charlee, Diego, Luna, and Damien; his sisters, Elsa Tutt, Imelda Medina, Rachel Aguilar, and Sandy Caulk, along with their spouses; as well as many dear nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.

Leo’s warmth, adventurous spirit, giving heart, and unwavering devotion to his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday morning, August 14, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.

In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted at the service, or cards may be mailed to 1213 Miami Dr., Longview, TX 75601.
