Juan L. Paredes, Jr., 59, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Dahlia Paredes; parents, Juan L. and Graciela Paredes, Sr.; and sibling, Francisco Paredes.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Rosa Paredes; children, Luis (Amanda) Paredes, Jose (Sandra) Paredes, Juan (Brenda) Paredes III, Luis Abran Paredes, Juan Leoncho Paredes; 14 grandchildren; siblings, Graciela (Joe) Espinoza, Armando (Becky) Paredes, Patricia (Ricardo) Paredes Lopez, Gerardo (Rosa Anna) Paredes, David (Araceli) Paredes, and sister-in-law, Leticia V. Paredes.  He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving condolences on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday morning, August 6, 2021 at Nuestra Señora del Rosario Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m.  Everyone attending is encourage to meet at church.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot of the Laredo City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Luis Paredes, Jose Paredes, Juan Paredes III, David Paredes, Sr., Gerardo Paredes, Armando Paredes, Alberto Guzman, and Candido Contreras.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Luis Abran Paredes, and Juan Leoncho Paredes.

The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to: Dr Ricardo G. Cigarroa and staff, Arturo Cantu, Jr, Arturo Cantu III, and Hi-Valley Transport.
