Juan Francisco Cortez, 28, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on November 30, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Jesus Gonzalez, and paternal grandfather Lorenzo R. Cortez.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sydney Hernandez Cortez; children, Jayleen Faith Cortez, Jaycob Samuel Cortez; parents, Lorenzo R. (Magdalena) Cortez, Jr.; brothers and sister, Lorenzo R. Cortez III, Leslie Cortez, Anthony Cortez; maternal grandmother Doris Gonzalez; paternal grandmother Maria de los Angeles Cortez; along with numerous relatives and friends.

The family received condolences on Saturday evening, December 3, 2022, from 5pm to 7pm at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez.

A private cremation will be held at a later date.
