She is preceded in death by her parents: Juan and Porfiria Martinez.

She is survived by sister Castula Bustos of San Antonio, TX, nieces and nephews: Juanita (Daniel) Rivas, Tomas Bustos of Austin, TX, Jorge (Yolanda) Bustos of Austin, TX and Jose (Christine) Bustos of San Antonio, TX, as well as numerous other extended family members and acquaintances from Laredo.
