Josefina Blanco

Josefina "Josie" Blanco, 87, joined our Lord in heaven on Thursday, December 11, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Carmen Diaz; brothers, Francisco, Ramon and Jesus Diaz; sister, San Juana Diaz; and great-grandchildren, Angel and Troy Vance. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Diana (Oscar) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Ronald (Tina) Vance, Jr., Armando Gutierrez, Ashly Valdez, and Amber Rodriguez; and great-grandchildren, Ernie, Jazlyne, and Kaylyne Vance. She is also survived by her sisters, Maria del Refugio (Daniel) Gutierrez and Tomasita Gonzalez; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday morning, December 17, 2014. Visitation begins at 8 a.m. at Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring at Cortez. Funeral procession will depart to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Mass time is still pending, for more information please contact our office at (956) 722-0001.
