Jose Rodriguez

Jose L. Rodriguez, 85, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Jose is preceded in death by his siblings: Aurelia Garcia, Amalia Navarro, Tiburcio Rodriguez, and Margarita Gonzalez. Jose is survived by his loving wife: Maria Santos Rodriguez; children: Jose Rodriguez, Jr., Javier Rodriguez, Gilberto Rodriguez, Nora Rodriguez, Norma (Rogelio) Pea, Doris (Andy) Donovan, Mary (Ramon) Chavarria; brothers and sisters: Juan Rodriguez, Aurelio "Lelo" Rodriguez, Rafael Rodriguez, and Sara Hernandez. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels, 719 Loring @ Cortez from 6 to 9 in the evening. A Rosary will be held at 7 in the evening. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 14, 2014 departing at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Jose Rodriguez, Jr., Javier Rodriguez, Gilberto Rodriguez, Ramon Chavarria, Andy Donovan, and Rogelio Pea.
